The postseason honors keep coming for Kayla Shull.
Shull, a Rocky Grove graduate and former Clarion swimmer, has been selected as the PSAC’s nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award.
Shull, a Capital One First Team Academic All-All-American on the women’s at-large team, is one of hundreds of graduating female student-athletes throughout America that will represent their conferences on the NCAA Woman of the Year ballot.
Shull was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American this past season, placing fifth in the 100 backstroke in a school-record time of 55.40 seconds while also taking 16th in the 200 freestyle. Shull was a 15-time D-II All-American and a four-time individual PSAC champion in her career.
Shull graduated in May with a 4.0 GPA as a speech pathology and audiology major.
The Woman of the Year award is designed to honor female senior student-athletes for their collegiate achievements in academics, athletics, leadership and service.
All conference nominees will be released in early August.
